We are a Swiss family-owned company based in Gossau SG – founded in 1892 by Johann Friedrich Gietz and now in its fifth generation. For over 130 years, the name Gietz has stood for industry-leading machine solutions in the printing, packaging, and security industries.
With more than 70 years of experience in the research, development, design, and production of flatbed hot foil stamping machines for sheet and roll applications as well as tray forming machines, we set global standards in quality, reliability, and durability.
Our machines finish folding cartons and labels and secure banknotes – from high-quality labels for wines and spirits to luxury packaging for chocolate, perfumes, and cosmetics, as well as applications in security printing. Our portfolio is complemented by tray forming machines that form and glue the takeaway trays used every day around the world to carry salads and burgers.
Our team consists of over 70 employees. Together with renowned sales partners in over 40 countries, we ensure a strong global presence.
